Majestic One! powers the development of key fraction concepts such as equivalency, relative size, relationships, common denominator, addition, and more. Players collect pattern block models of halves, thirds, fourths, sixths, and twelfths as they move around the board. These fractional parts are then assembled into sets of "one" in multiple ways.
Fraction models build strong mental images that deepen understanding and help to avoid unreasonable answers. Game One uses common denominators of four and six.
